Pintails were designed and created for carving your way down to the beach to check out the waves. They have a tear-drop shape, wider in the middle and narrowing to the front and rear.
The pintails have wider looser trucks making it easier for carving, creating more of a surfer feel to it as the narrowing deck moves between the trucks, preventing the dreaded "wheelbite".
These are great for cruising with friends or going shopping as they can be very forgiving. Check out the video below for a taste of riding pintail longboards by the Original Skateboard Crew :-)
